I'm gonna go back to the well here. I mentioned yesterday that the last 30 days of the regular season - the Royals offense ranked last in AVG, last in OPS, 2nd to last in OBP, and last in SLG. During the course of the entire season, they were better but still ranked 15th, while the Yankees were near the top at 3rd.
It's commendable KC has made it this far. However, tonight they get Gerrit Cole. In his last 7 games, he's sporting a 2.51 ERA and a 0.84 WHIP. He's been even better in his last 2, giving up just 4 hits and 1 ER across 15.2 innings. It looks like he's back.
Michael Wacha has had a very nice season. His last 7 have been decent, although nothing like Cole. Wacha pitched to a 3.4 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. And in his last 2, he's given up 5 ER over 10.2 innings. I can't see him doing enough to overcome the deficiency of the offense. This looks like a 4-2 or 5-2 type game.
At -150, the implied probability that NY wins this game is 60%. I have it higher than that, so I'm happy to lay the juice.
I'm on the Yankees to close out the series at -150. I'm also sprinkling -1.5 at +110.
Cheers and BOL

Very nice write-up my friend Agree on tonight's pick. Cole was 50/50 is last start. I see him pitching a gem tonight for a bounce back. Yankees close out series

@kagakuotoko - If you want to reduce the juice, -1 is the way to go. Just keep in mind that based off major league historical data, you have a 30% chance of a push if the Yanks win. Although, I would peg that a bit lower given the match up.
