One of the biggest wagers ive ever made

I am as confident in this bet as I have been on anything in a long time. I have been hot lately too. I have hit 3 4 team parlays in the past 2 weeks. I ordered the mlb package and watching and paying attention to nearly every team and being able to physically see the AB's gives you worlds of info more than watching a gamecast.

That being said. I have watched the red sox games and yankee games all week. I predicted before this mini run the yankees are on that they would catch fire now and make their push. Ive been exactly right except for the last angels game. but thats hughes and he should be faded at all times anyway.

The yankees: Their lineup is insanely different with sori and grandy. They batted soriano 2nd in the last angels game which was a big mistake. I felt like the yankees have had this obligation to bat arod 4th, which is the worst. Yesterday they finally put sori 4, arod 5. Arod got much better pitches and got a couple hits while soriano is absolutely taring the cover off the ball. Kuroda is nasttttyy right now. The ace of the squad. However, this is less a bet on Kuroda, than it is the yankees vs red sox offense. Yanks 1-8 hitters are all on fire right now. Romine is the only guy who cant hit and maybe V Wells. Hopefully its ichiro playing tonight and not wells.

Red sox: this team is a lot like st louis right now. they are in a slump but will be there in the end. This lineup is simply not producing right now. They have no power threat whatsoever after ortiz. You could possibly say Napoli is a power guy but he has more bad ab's as good ones. Their 1-3 hitters are all leadoff type of guys (ells, victorino, and pedroia). Pedroia is not a 3 hitter. After papi, this lineup is so weak. Lackey is 0-4 in last 5 starts with a 4.96 era. I dont know why people think this guy is an ace but i guess thats why I am getting + money on my wager. Kuroda is 3-1 with a 1.25 era in his last 5. The guy is truly a cy young candidate.

Risking $4,000 to win $4,560

Make no mistake, this is a lot of money for me and a large part of my bankroll. I just havnt felt this way about a game in a long time.

thanks sjabo....too many people talking trap lines. There are no trap lines in baseball. It does exist in other sports but not in baseball. Go with what you feel, not just take the "opposite of whateveryones thinking because everyone is wrong, thats why vegas wins" approach. There are too many baseball games. Oddsmakers dont sit an analyze games like they do for nfl. The computer spits out lines. Red sox are suppose to be one of the best teams and their "ace" if you wanna call lackey that is on the mound. Yanks should be &#x2B; money!! if they were favorites thats when i would be scared of a trap because that means the oddsmakers are deliberately changing who is suppose to be the fav.

It's way too time consuming to do on a regular basis, but it's the best measure of knowing how a team is playing by a long shot. Numbers never tell the full story.

I don't ever bet "most" of my bankroll on any 1 game, but FWIW, I agree with your pick whole heartedly. Good Luck

honestly theres way too many variables for it to be worth making a large wager on. I remember Shelby Miller got injured 2nd inning and because of that he gets subbed for a relief pitcher who sucked behind and since he started my wager was dead.

In his last outing he walked 3 batters alone in the first inning....this coming from a guy who seldom walks anybody.Yankees batters are patient at the plate too. Now look at the Red Sox current run of games. They get a ton of hits but their base runners get stranded. Josh...1. I dont post predictions all the time but what the hell does that matter. Its douche bags like yourself that dissuade people from posting because they get ripped if they make a bad prediction. What does me "claiming" i predicted the yankees run have anything to do with this game? Im simply saying I have felt this, who cares if it was written in stone a couple weeks ago.2. I did say sox have no power and they dont. what the SEASON stats are and what the teams are doing now are completely different. I said sox are in a slump, and they are, but theyll be there at the end. I feel they arent hitting right now.3. Noone calls lackey an ace? An ace is the number 1 pitcher on a team. The term "Ace" doesnt necessarily mean a lights out pitcher. You could possibly say Lester starts game 1 of a playoff series but theres a good chance Lackey would start game 1 as well if bucholtz doesnt come back.4. I am greedy cause I truly believe in a pick of my own? That I am not depending on other cappers and taking advice blindly? Greed is trying to win all your money back on the last game of the night just because its there. i feel i have an edge and I am pushing. If someone has pocket Aces in poker, are they greedy cause they shove all in when they could have just bet a little? Aces win 75% of the time vs any hand. Can they still lose?
