I had started a new thread about Pedro Avilla, starting pitcher for San Diego tonight...

But then thought I need to put those selections in my main thread...

Give me 3 units on the Arizona Diamondbacks...-113...

Give me 3 units on the OVER 9... -105...

Give me 3 units on both Team Total OVERS...

Arizona OVER 4.5... -103
San Diego OVER 4.5... +105

I think the kid has trouble tonight...we will see what happens...

Well...

I'm going to post a parlay...been playing them and hitting them at a very good rate...but I always hesitate to post them...

And, obviously...when I play a parlay, I play the individual teams in them as well for straight bets...

Parlay

Pittsburgh +115
Arizona -113
Arizona/S.D. OVER 9
Boston -172

1 units is +12.13 units...

Not playing Boston as a straight wager  in this case...

Arizona game starting out as I expected...kid is shaky...he has a nice curve but he is leaving it right in the center of the plate...

Can't do that with major league hitters...

Kid is going to get rocked hard tonight...

Avila was quite the surprise...got out of some jams and then pitched pretty well...

Be interesting to see what he does in his next start...

Looking over tomorrow's games a bit before going to bed...

Baltimore at Boston....

David Hess goes for Baltimore...2.70 ERA with a .83 WHIP...threw a very nice scoreless 6 1/3rd innings at Toronto game before last...then the Yankees dinged him a bit last outing...5IP..3HR...4 ER...

But...He could stump this slumping Boston lineup...last night was an aberration as far as I am concerned...I don't think Boston coming back vs a 4-9 Toronto team constitutes a massive turnaround...

Some huge value here with this line at +245...

Something to sleep on...

Oakland at Texas...

Books can't really make this O/U line as high as it should be...Texas has been slumping a bit at the plate over the last 10 days...

But...with Oakland in town...hitting has just become fashionable again...this will SAIL over the number...I can't see any scenario in which this stays under...

Line should not go down...only up...so I'm locking this one in tonight...

Looking back at the Houston/Seattle game....

Houston is an UNDER team so far...I'm leaning toward this game going UNDER...will finalize a decision later tonight...
