Im just curious what the forum thinks about situations like this. A lineup seeing a pitcher for the first time usually presents a small advantage for a pitcher we see it all the time with rookies who may go 6innings 2 earned in their 1st start vs a rival and 3 innings 6 earned the next.
Does this generally get thrown out the window with a great pitcher who has tons of film on him? Interleague play presents us with interesting matchups and Im curious if this idea may influence anyone here.
Pitcher in question is Verlander vs the brewcrew today. Not his first start against them but it is his first since Jun 21, 2009 aka over ten years (which im pretty sure is his only). Christian Yelich just graduated high school days before.

Line is suspiciously low too. Verlander is usually priced higher.. For this game, I'm probably going to go with the F5 under. It should probably be U4..
"Schrödinger's bet." A bet that loses when you bet it but wins when you DON'T bet it...

I think the lines suspiciously low too cause Woodruff hasnt lost since April 10th which is irrelevant in the end but thats what people love to do, ride winning streaks.
Astros just feel like a really safe bet to me tn

Woodruff could do well here, but unlucky to have Verlander for an opponent. My problem with an under here is that both W & V will have to be in top form. Even a small off day is disaster against either of these two offenses. Just my 2 cents, I am passing this game, probably watch it for the sheer quality of the pitching.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn
