1.La Dodgers RL (-170) : Everybody knows it is Kershaw pitching today so not to much to say. He has been a bit iffy late coming back from the DL but this is the time to pick it up for him. He has a couple of starts left before playoff baseball and he wants to get in a groove before then. Lucky for him he comes up against one of the worst offenses in the league the Phillies. Pivetta is toeing the slab for the Phillies and he has had a tough year and I don't think he will have a very good outing against the Dodgers here either. The only thing that scared me a bit about this was Dodgers played a big Sunday night baseball game last night and I was thinking maybe a let down game for the offense but I just don't see Pivetta pitching well and I see Kershaw shutting them down anyway. Dodgers 5-2
2.New York Yankees ML (-150) : This is a huge series for both teams, they are both the wild card teams. I think the experience of the Yankees and Girardi will be a big part in this series and game. The Twins do have the edge in the starting pitching but Garcia hasn't been all that bad with the Yankees. He struggled in his first start giving up 6 runs but since then he has given up 3 earned runs or less in his last 5 starts. I believe he will give them about 5 innings of 3 run ball and then the Yankees will go to the pen which hasn't been all that strong but if you look at it on paper they have a great bullpen and I think it will start to show down the stretch. The Twins need a good start from Santana because they don't have the best bullpen and he hasn't been as great as he was before the all star game. Garcia keeps this game close and the Yankees will take over at the end of the game. Yankees win 5-3
Those are my 2 strong plays, think I will have more closer to start times but for now that is all I have
