p.fielder 7 years 175 million - chicago cubs or
texas rangers if they can move m.young and his 12 and 13 million for the next 2 seasons as beltre is at 3rd and fielder would be 1st base and DH

Man, I just don't see going from one league to another working out. Most extreme case is Adam Dunn. This guy was NL his whole career, then goes to DH-ville and SUCKS.
I don't see Pujols or Prince going AL. They've proved they can hit NL pitching. I just don't see money making them jump. I could be wrong.
If the Cards are stupid enough to let Pujols get away, why not go to St.Louis? The fans are smart enough to know that nobody can replace Albert, but that Prince is a damn good player.
Prince will wait until Pujols signs. Doesn't make any sense to sign before then. You let Albert sign, and then go "I'm ____% as good as him" and sign for a nice hunk of change.
I like the Cubs angle with Theo wanting to make a splash. One thing I've heard though, is that when you have a bigfatass 1b-man like say Mo Vaughn, the production dropoff after 30 is scary
Prince is a big fat ass. He can hit, but do think he will weigh less in the near future, or more? I'd like to see that prop bet.........
Nationals would be good for him, too.

great point but a big advantage of fielder in the AL is when he's older he can just DH
if the nationals can spend that sort of money on j.werth they would certainly pay fielder question is does fielder want to go to an immediate contender (texas) or not
