Lee may be the most dominant playoff pitcher I have seen. I haven't been around that long but still. Ridiculous.

I don't want to see the Yankees.  The games are too long, and I'm sick of the annoucers (Joe Buck, Tim McCarver especially) sucking them off at every opportunity

I'm kinda clueless on why everyone is saying if CC goes on short rest, why everyone else would have to. Has ANYONE put together the pieces that CC can go Game 4 and AJ wait 1 more day for Game 5? Keeps everyone on track.

But, why do that?  You don't have to win tomorrow.  I'd go Burnett tomorrow and then you get CC on more rest.  Both at home.

The characteristic of a big market team is that they have a reservoir of fair-weather fans waiting to follow the team if they do well. So it's not, "we want to see them no matter what", it's "the big market fair-weather fans want to see them if they win". Me? I absolutely want to see a San Fran v. Texas World Series. MLB will not disappear if that happens. I'm confident they'll play the 2011 season no matter what happens.

I understand that, but have you seen CC on more rest? It's not a good thing.

But I'm saying that everyone thinks it's either AJ Burnett pitching Game 4 or it's like he's, by law, not allowed to pitch again.

mike francesa shoots down hundreds of callers a day who have called in every day during the playoffs saying the announcers are Anti-yankees. Its so ridiculous.

They arent all over their yankees junk like that awful announcer Michael Kay. They are balanced. Their job is to want a good game and when someone is pitching as well as Lee theya re going to give him, his props.
