I’m all about taking the team with the worser record when they are favs but this line is really crazy
The White Sox are a sorry lot, but it’s not Garrett Crochet’s fault. Since the beginning of May his ERA is a tiny 1.03 in six starts. The White Sox went 4-2 in those six starts while going 5-22 in all their other games.
The Red Sox really put it on them last night, pounding out a major league season high 24 hits in a humiliating 14-2 rout. I felt that after having blown leads four days in a row, the White Sox were thoroughly demoralized and not ready to compete. But after last night’s buttkicking, I think we’ll get a focused team that will actually play with some confidence and purpose behind their best starter. Will that be enough to snap this 14-game losing streak? We’ll see about that, but it does explain the virtual pick ‘em line.

As of today the Pale Hoes are well within the pace to be the worst offense in the history of MLB (pre change of records anyways). They aren't even crossing home plate three times a game on ave. Only eight teams since WWII haven't ave. 3 runs/gm, and three of those occurred during the raised mound year in '68. It's scary to think if you only score 3 runs in a game, you've done better than usual. Crochet and Fedde both should get some kind of Employee of the Spring award for continuing to clock in, and do their jobs. knowing full well there is absolutely no margin for error.

The Red Sox entered last night’s game with a record of 31-31. They won to improve to 11-4 this season when entering a game with a .500 record. However, they are just 5-5 following the 10 wins that put them one game over .500.

I saw it yesterday and instantly thought it’s the White Sox game today. They cannot lose every game? Can they? Major League losing streak record is 23. One at 21 and a few 20 and 19 game losers in a row. If they don’t win this game, they are going to be bumping up against history because they probably don’t have a shot in the next three games. Surely they know this but does it matter?!

I'd take WSox but they're playing terrible without Pham. Bullpen is a mess and could give up 3/4 runs in a minute. I like 1h wsox, maybe a late total. Bol

Idiot Garrett Crochet immediately invited trouble in the top of the 3rd by walking the .153-hitting #8 batter Bobby Dalbec. Following a strikeout, Jarren Duran hit a full count dribbler that Crochet fielded and chucked down the right field line. Dalbec came all the way around to score and Durran wound up laughing on 3rd. He laughed even harder after Crochet threw the ball to 1st to attempt an appeal of whether Durran stepped on 1st or not. Except there was no appeal because Crochet threw that ball away, too. Durran was credited with stealing home.
it was all the Red Sox announcers could do to hold back from just shouting “Wow, these guys suck!”

@MrBator
Crochet with 10ks and 1er I guess all we could ask for. Glad to be on the same side. I just bet them and was thinking on adding to survivor to try for win 11 but just too risky as we can see. Gl hope we close it out

Felt like with this crazy line it looked like a great time to make a large bet on white Sox. I went 1300 at -110 but could have afforded more smh
