Coming off a win against Phillies? I don't think so....Guardians win this one

Why would you consider coming off a win yesterday over the Phillies to be a negative for the Rockies? They just won a series against the team with the best record in baseball, and they clinched the series win yesterday by beating the Phillies and their best pitcher in gate-to-wire fashion. Feels all positive to me. Since the Rockies fell to 8-28 with a home loss to the Giants on May 8th, they've turned things around going 10-6 including a sparkling 6-1 at Coors Field. 

The Cleveland team won their ninth in a row yesterday, but be careful with teams that just defeated the soft Angels in a series finale. There have been 10 such teams this season, and they went 4-6 against the next team they played including a smooth 0-10 laying -1.5 runs.

I completely agree , not to mention the pitching of Gombers last 4 starts , allowing only 2 runs at 0.88 . The last 3 of those resulting in Rockies wins 

Maybe best play could be a nrfi ?

 If you love a pick go with it, but personally, I'm on Cleveland.  Their starter is 2-0. He has faced 7 of Colorado's hitters before and they are 0-8. That's a small sample size. Gomber is 2-3 at home. Cleveland is 4-2 in interleague games; the Rockies are 7-10. Cleveland is 10-2 against lefties. Cleveland is 9-1 last 10, Colorado is 4-6. It's kind of like a roulette wheel, if red has come up 9 out of 10 times, you should bet red, but some people thing black is due. Just giving perspective, as I never want someone to change their mind about a bet, then it wins.

anyone know what the Rockies line  was when Gomber was pulled ? I assume it was better than the +115 I got for the Rockies 

It was in the +110 to +118 range depending on what book people have after Gomber announced out.
