Ubaldo has yet to win a game last year he was one of Clevelands best if
not the best pitcher on their roster last year. When he was on
Cleveland he posted a 2-0 record vs the Royals. Baltimore's bats have
been hot lately and it's been quite the opposite for the Royals. This is
the perfect spot to back the O's because Jimenez is itching for that
first win of the season, he did not anticipate starting 0-3 this year
and this is a great opportunity for him to come out at home and show the
O's what he can do vs a team he has had nothing but success over.
My money is on the O's ML -110, biggest play of the year for me so far. GL today everyone.

Have you guys seen the Royals guy Ventura pitch. He was throwing some filthy stuff against the Astros when I saw him. Yes I know the Astros worst team in MLB. But the Royals also have nice bullpen and are tops in fielding percentage.

Your comparing the lowly Astros to bmore who's vats have been on fire and royals vats have been cold u can't just pick the better pitcher it ain't that easy you have to factor in the batting toi

Did you see Ventura his last time out against the Twins ?? The guy gave up four runs in four innings while walking 4 batters and giving up 6 hits.
If you are going to throw stats out like you did in his outing against Houston throw out info about the other side of the coin as well

If you are going to throw stats out like you did in his outing against Houston throw out info about the other side of the coin as well

I'm not doubting Ventura. I'm playing Ubaldo who's due for a win. He's come close and then given up one bad pitch in some games. I'll take him over KC who he's dominated.

Keep in mind as well that in the first game he pitched against TB they were batting south of the Mendoza line at the time and that the Astros have the lowest batting average of any team in all of MLB. He struggled against a team that is hitting well (Twins) which is exactly what is going on right now with Baltimore.
Not playing the game either. My point is that to tell someone to tread lightly is ridiculous. Try looking at the entire picture. Ventura has been highly touted and has a lot of talent and upside, however, he is also a kid and has appeared in a total of 6 games in his big league career

I was actually debating with HoustonSports. He was telling me I shouldn't tell anyone to tread lightly based on what a guy does against the Astros, if I don't mention the fact that he wasn't good against the Twins.
I was basically saying anyone who claims to put their biggest bet of the year on a mediocre team whose pitcher is an average and that team is playing another mediocre team with another average pitcher then i would suggest to tread lightly. I really don't see how that is out of line. Anyway good luck
