I had a good Friday, hitting my 3 teamer parlay and clearing almost 7U. I missed on the Rays and got beat by the Braves bullpen, but it was a great day in spite of the misses.
Giants @ Cubs: The wind is blowing in about 12mph, but it won't be enough to stop the runs today. Germano has given up 12 runs in his last 9.2 IP. Linecum has a 3.90 August ERA and he hasn't made it 6 innings in his last 3 starts.

Orioles @ Yankees: Does anybody have the sack to go Under on a Yankees day game? I do. The Orioles have been an Under team, going Under 4 out of their last 5. Under is 6-2 in the Yanks last 8. Under is 10-4-1 in the last 15 meetings between these teams, and 6-2-1 in the last 9 in New York. Both pitchers have done fairly well against the other team. I don't think even the temperature will help these two teams go over today.

Rays @ Jays: Alvarez is the perfect guy to be facing if you're struggling with the bats. He has given up 24 runs in 24.1 IP in August. The Rays owe me for the past two days, so I'm giving them two chances to get it back.

Phillies @ Braves: Cliff Lee has an ERA almost a full run less Away as opposed to Home. Atlanta is 24-27 vs. LHP this year, and Lee is still one of the better lefties in the league. Hudson has been good enough to win his 2 starts against the Phils, but he has given up 17 hits (8 runs) in 17 IP. The Phillies were hitting just fine yesterday, and I say they put enough together for another win today.

Angels @ Mariners: King Felix has been crushed by the Angels, surrendering 10 runs in 13 IP. Santana has been ripped by the Mariners, giving up 16 runs in 16 IP against them. This game is in Seattle, but it's a Day game, which helps. Santana has an atrocious 6.59 Day ERA. 4 runs in the first 5 shouldn't be a problem.

Padres @ Rockies: Volquez is a ground ball pitcher that has done well against the Rockies, with 2 wins and a 2.38 ERA in 2 starts, including one Away. Chacin is a fly ball pitcher that has given up 12 runs on 19 hits in 12.2 IP in 3 starts at home. I know this looks too easy, as the Padres have a winning record against righties and they are 9-1 in their last 10. But I'll take the bait anyway, with two hooks. After all, San Diego has averaged 5.83 runs per game over the past week. Why shouldn't they keep it going against Chacin?
