Maddog70....If he is betting the over 9, He thinks it is gonna go over...so that .5 shouldnt make a difference in the bet...u just lose out on the push if it falls at 9 at the end of the game
Reduce it to a 1 unit play, in my humble opinion..... your payout will be better becaus the 9.5 is at plus money, but you potentially lose when you could have pushed.......

Yeah, but over the course of a season, the number of times you lose and he pushes can make or break you. So it's not an automatic thing to go for it with that reasoning. Giving up that extra .5 can be like paying a lot of extra juice. So we gotta be selective when paying extra juice or giving up an extra .5 run when tailing AJ's early entries. The books make us pay to tail AJ.

9.5 is a bad # imo,as mention already there is no for sure tie,as 7.5 is the same,with 2 stud pitchers that have the 7.5 at a 3-3 tie you still need 2 runs,unlike 8.5 as if 4-4 you have a for sure win.

Good news. KC/St. Louis o/u just dropped back down to 9 at my book. -115. So now I'll go for it, but maybe just 1 unit. Interleague games went under on 11 games to 3 over yesterday. Pitchers may have the advantage in these unfamiliar matchups with hitters. ?

His relief #s look good,but cant find out how his 4 starts last year were,thanks
I may be a homer, but I think Happ and the Phillies have a great chance today. He's a solid young pitcher and the bats are hot. Plus, Petitte just isn't what he used to be...

happ lost the battle for the number 5 starter in the phills rotation but i thot all along hes better than park was and he pitched good last year but i think the bettter play here is the over imo but i got 5 black stars so what do i know lol
