Bad luck on that BAL bet...with Uehara out...Detwiler should be out soon and the worst pen ever created should be blowing the game for the Nats soon.

Hard luck for us in New York and now the under gets blown out by a 6 run ninth for Tampa!

Need I say more??... Papelbon blows a save for Boston tonight.  Why not leave Beckett in there if he can go the 9th?   Gonzalez and Soriano almost combine to blow the Braves game.  Why take the 2nd relief pitcher out of the game after 10 pitches to finish the 8th, then go with Gonzalez who was smartly pulled before they lose that one??  Geeze, the calls these managers make sometimes.   Who will be the next victim?? 

As for the Tampa game, I see no excuse to give up all those 9th inning runs.  granted this was not a save opportunity, but still.....   we were screwed out of that one too....

No offense Kangy, but rarely does a pitcher this day and age go 9 complete.  And especially when you have Pap as a closer, you bring him in with a one run lead.

Well put, but they still should all be able to put the game away.  Some days guys are off, but seems like every day someone is blowing a game. 

I guess the pitchers need to go back to the steroid days for that stamina.

I hear ya Kangy.  But if I were Francona,  and against this anemic Mets offense, 10 times out 10 I would bring in Papelbon in the 9th unless someone was pitchin a no-no.  But either way, it always seems like the bad beats outway the lucky hits.  It's been happening to me all season and I think to most covers members as well.  Its a long season, and hopefully we get back a few if not most.

James Loney is so fucking useless. Nobody in the league does less for me than this guy. Day after day he makes outs in key situations when I'm on the dodgers or the over. How this guy has 29 rbi's is beyond me because I havent seen him get a hit all year.

I'm also glad to see I was screwed on 2 more bets tongiht Ive had my fair share of lucky wins but the bad beats seem to outweigh those by at least 5 to 1.

The only good thing about losing a cubs bet is that I take satisfaction in watching this team continue to fall apart. They've scored 3 runs in their last 5 games It doesnt get any more pathetic than that.
