. . . and I still won't do it with CC. I don't care how many the Mariners are, how good CC has been with the ump behind the plate and versus the Mariners for his career, or anything other statistic you can throw at me. What if CC Sabathia gets food poisoning from one of the 10 meals he eats per day? What is Seattle corks their bats? Kidding, of course, but you get the point. As I'm typing this, the Red Sox are currently tied with the Royals in the Bottom 13th as a -300 favorite. Go figure. I learned my lesson on the -230 wager on the Phillies.
Today was an interesting day outside of MLB betting, too. Jay Cutler ended up quitting again, and this time it was on his engagement. Bad sign for Bears fans.
The lockout is over, and if you've been following it, you knew it was going to be over before the season began. The media really over did it on this one. Now the NBA? That's another story with the implementation of a hard cap. Miami will have to say bye, bye to Bosh when this hard cap is implemented in all likelihood.
NCAA season win totals came out and I'm liking the Oregon State Beavers Under 6.5 with all the question marks they'll have to deal with this coming season. I love Mike Riley, but he has some work to do.
Recapping yesterday for me, I ended up making +$650 on my If Wager and -$1000 on the Phillies. Thanks a lot, D-Bags. I'll take it though and move on.
I'm doing a Round Robin today because it's the 1-year anniversary of my first Round Robin bet. I'm also using the exact same dollar value on it to replicate the wager. I went 4 for 4 on it last year which means nothing this year, but it was also with much larger favorites than I'm using today.
Round Robin Plays (2s, 3s, and 4):
Baseball - 903 San Francisco Giants +101
Baseball - 913 Arizona Diamondbacks +104
Baseball - 917 Los Angeles Angels -132
Baseball - 929 Tampa Bay Rays -136
Risk Amount Per Play: $36.99 Total # Of Parlays: 11 Total Risk: $406.89
I'll post the tickets tomorrow individually. I tried to copy and paste the entire Round Robin, but it says I'm using over 7800 characters.

Sorry, that should say: "I don't care how many losses the Mariners have in a row or how bad the Mariners are . . . " Their futility has my words in a jumble.
Also, +$620 on the If Wagers yesterday.
And lastly, the Royals just took the lead in the Top 14th @ 3-1.
Yep.

Nah Simmy, I have to write a certain amount of blogs per month, so that's why this is larger in writing content.
Oh, BTW . . . coming from someone who posted a thread about how they were leading a Covers Contest, it's really ironic we're discussing attention. At least mine has a reasonable excuse, what's yours? Congrats on a great year in MLB, now buzz off.

told you the royals and padres wouldnt get respect and it'd bite bettors in the ass. Mariners actually got some action, and so did the astros. i went 2-2 though and finished plus money so F it. Don't like your giants play. Tim is a dog for a reason, i'm not sure i've ever saw him get the win when he was a dog. Worley has been insane and the giants lineup isnt exactly crushing people right now. Phillies in a solid bounce back spot. Like the rest though, wouldn't play em though.
Marlins, Phillies, Orioles, Pirates for me. Maybe the dodgers in the late game. Kershaw has been SOLID!

You werent exactly going out on a limb there.......
no but the other part of the sentence where i said it'd bite bettors in the ass was. I also said it last night that i wouldn't take the phillies due to them not having much to play for, and i wouldnt take the red sox due to lester being a pitch count. Nowhere in my wildest dreams did i predict that both of these teams would be so damn awful in scoring position though. That was sadd.
BOL tomorrow man. You hit the padres so i'm assuming you had a good day.
