Currently, I've lost the last four picks dropping to 37-26-1 for +15.7 Units-ish. I'll get the exact number in a minute.
Building Saturday's Card:
New York Yankees ML (-115)
I like the games to be spread out for the day like they typically are on Wednesday & Saturday. If I lose on Yankees, I'll call it a day. If I win, then I have some other picks that I like.
Have a great play? Post it! I need them. :)
Thanks to everyone who supports this thread and the daily MLB grind. I appreciate discussing the games with you.

I've been there with liking the spreading out of games. Somewhere, I realized that I was forcing finding an angle to make a pick in the early game to create a springboard, or in some instances a dial down. It ruined a number of good days because I missed early and adjusted based on that.
Really hard matchup and I just can't trust AJ. If someone told me that Jeter would get to 3000 today, I'm confident John Sterling will be screaming "theeeeeeeeee Yankees win", but I'm not sold, so no play.
BTW, Al Michaels and Bob Costas moving around from MLB to SNY to CSN was highly entertaining. The joys of Directv's baseball package.
Keep your head up, just a bump in the road.

Tough loss on the Padres last night as they had bases loaded with no outs and failed to score. I don't even think our M's bats could pull that off.
But I'm glad to see you on the Yanks. Opened at -130 I believe?? I locked it in at -113 this morning. Didn't think about playing the over but I think that might be a good pick as well, usually when the Yankees win they score a decent amount of runs. So if one hits I think the other one comes with it. GL!!

Braves +140 - Like Hanson in this spot at the price. Lee is outstanding, but his last 5 vs the Braves, despite having insane strikeout totals, is a mere 2-3 and his been beaten twice already this year. I'm going for the hat trick
Pirates - -107 Correia has been surprisingly very good and the Bucs are a feel good story. Large crowds, good baseball by and large and well the Cubs are the Cubs again this year.
Twins - +136 - Until the White Sox beat the Twins this year (0-6) and (0-9) last nine in Chicago, I'm going to go with the very streaky Twinkies
Jays/Tribe o4 1H - both teams are swinging the bats well right now and thought about the game over, but went with -120 for the 1H
Rangers - TT over (thinking it's 5 or 5.5 given game total is 9) I'm in the camp that the heat really impacts opposing team starters and McCarthy is well, Brandon McCarthy. He's pitched reasonably well this year. Might take the over 9 as well.
BOL.....and sorry about the Friars last night. Bases loaded, no outs in the top of the 9th and couldn't get the tying run in.....Just ugly.

Are you fading yourself? I could have sworn you said you liked the Rays in another thread.
Please and Thank you.

If you haven't made a donation to the Shannon Stone fund and you have a winning day (or, even if you have a losing day), please consider doing so.
I just read another story about his son and it breaks my heart.
Thanks.
SJP -- thank you for the alert... care to post the link to this story about his son? I know that I can easily google this, but I'm busy capp'n at the moment. Sad to see the father fall and die.
I'm a Yankee fan, but I have no faith in Burnett... he goes hot and cold; Price is a much better pitcher and the Rays own the Yanks, outside of Sabathia.
I'm wearing Yankee hats that I dug out of a dumpster... washed them, of course, so it's nice to get "official" MLB hats, let alone Yankee hats.
So it's Rays ML, RRL, parlay of Over and Rays RL, Over for me today.
Reds RL (-1.5), too and the Over in a parlay, too.
Lots of wins yesterday for me, so it's going to be fun seeing those Ben Franklins being counted out at the casino window this morning.
