Skubal at -120

Another good price and reasonably good spot for Det.  I'm always going to be on Skubal in the -120 range unless he's going against an ace and that's not the case here.  

I live just north of Detroit and not a Tigers fan. Born here but grew up outside of Boston so I’m a Sox fan. I sure hope the Tigers trade this stud southpaw because he’ll never win anything with Detroit. They don’t wanna spend any money on offense so without an offense well they’ll never get out of the bottom of the central. Started out alright but have faltered and now sit 10 games below 500. I’m not sure what you’re talking about as far as a good spot for them? They both had a day off today and Simeon for Minny is sporting a 3.40 era, not great but respectable and Minny averages 5.4 runs against southpaws. Skubal is 9-3 in his 16 starts so they’ve obviously been winning games when he pitches. Liking how they opened up Detroit as a road favorite here but with that offense, it’s so hard to put money on them. Hey Detroit, trade this stud to the Sox 

F5 or no bet. He has to go the distance to have a chance or else Det BP may blow it up.

 really just a reasonably good spot as Skubal outclasses woods by a bit and Minn, while having a 10 game above .500 record, isn't a powerhouse offensive team.  Skubal at close to even money has been a safe bet.  Thats all I'm saying.  And thats what I'm betting on.  Skubal.

Minnesota is 0-14 against Baltinore , Yankees and Indians and 47-23 against everyone else, gl.  

Last time skubal pitch against Minnesota at home they gave him lots of offense but their offense is brutal, they just got lucky to face Tyler Anderson to avoid a 4 game sweep, but like the poster above said they can't compete with this horrific lineup

You gotta ask yourself, why is Skubal only -120.

 I get it.  And its come down from -120 to -110, money coming in on Minn.  Skubal just has great stuff and has been borderline dominating.  I'll like and will take my chances with Skubal at a good price against a very average starter.  If the Tigers can put up 4, odds are they get the win.  Just my two cents.  GL All.

I get what you’re saying. But the books aren’t going to open this game at -140 based on like you said, Twins are playing well and Detroit isn’t. Not saying Skubal gets lit up but that bullpen sure as hell can get lit up
