Skubal has started 3 games on 6 days rest. 18 innings, 11H, 2ER and 25 Ks. But Tigers have not won BTB games in a month and have not scored 5+ runs in 3 straight games in forever. I expect maybe 5 hits for the Tigers. Will that be enough for Skubal to get the win. Maybe but I doubt it.
Exactly, because they knew he was gonna lose. That’s what I meant. Ace vs an “Average” Pitcher. Problem is that average pitcher has been better than the Ace last month and so has his team. When a line looks too easy, it usually is wrong.

Do you even look at things before you post? While they are a long shot to win(Phillies win it this year), the AL Central is one of the top 3 in baseball.
And I bet on the Twins tonight seeing how there was too much line movement to my liking. But the line was right opening up and I’d debate any highly intelligent person telling me otherwise. Twins at home and 10 games above 500 and Detroit 10 games below 500 and the Twins playing better ball. The line was set right man, it wasn’t one of those too good to be right lines.

3 Divisions have 3 or more teams with .500 records or better. AL Central is one of them.
Last 10 year World Series Champions, 3 came from AL Central. 2 from AL East, 1 from AL West, 2 from NL East, 2 from NL West and one from NL Central.
By the only metric that matters, they are the number one division for the last ten years.
Ok, I’ll take you up on that debate. The line moved over 30 cents before game time. I bet the game at -110 as it moved 5 cents while I was making it from -105 at 9 AM. Debate over. The line was not correct at all.
What does this mean? Kansas city won the world series in 2015, and the Cleveland Indians lost the world series in 2016. No other AL central team even made the LCS since
Oh I get it the 2 Houston world series and last year Texas world series equals 3 world series for the AL west, even though those 2 teams play in the central time zone. Thanks for the clarification
There's a lot to unpack here.
First....I believe there's only SIX divisions. It's not really impressive or stepping out to say one is the top three.
Second....it's completely wrong. (par for the course in your posts)
The Twins and Indians are in the bottom four for SOS to this point of 30 MLB teams. They've had a easy ride to attain their current records.
Many divisions have a weak team to beat on. The AL Central will have THEE WORST baseball team of all time in the WSox.
Minny is 11 over .500, and has 7 WINS and 0 losses vs the WSox.
KC is 7 over .500, and has 6 WINS and 1 loss vs the WSox.
The Indians are 23 over .500, and has 4 WINS and 4 losses vs the WSox.
The Tigers are 9 under .500, and has 5 WINS and 1 loss vs the WSox.
The AL Central is 22-5 vs the worst team in the history of the game that happens to be in their division.... AND there's more wins yet to be garnered. The division might actually end up with more than one winning team.
AL Central teams enjoy the great benefit of playing more games vs the other garbage in their division. While other divisions play their seasons against better level talent in the regular season, in the post season, and end up with much more to overcome. It's a BIG advantage for teams from the AL Central come the post season.
The division was garbage last year with ONE team over .500 even while playing weak SOS schedules.
AND garbage the year before WITH THE SAME......only one team Over .500.
And generally is garbage year after year.
ALL 5 teams are in the bottom half of MLB payroll. I suspect this is the same.......EVERY SEASON.
Year after year......The only division POSSIBLY weaker is the NL Central.
The AL Central is NOT remotely a top three division.
