A sleeper is not what the OP said at all...as you all agree...A sleeper is a player or a team that exceeds expectations that did not definitely exist as good.
Toronto is EXPECTED, based on odds and such to be a top team. A team like the Royals would qualify, just like a good 15 other teams.
The OP clearly indicates Toronto as a sleeper. Rayj1330 thought he had spotted a contender from a disappointing team last year. My post and many others are telling him Toronto cannot be a sleeper because the whole wide freakin world is wise to what they have done.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

I understand all the nonsense all I'm saying is when the same exact teams are making World Series again and again , there is a lot more sleepers then these 10 bottom feeders you guys are listing. But ok I'm on the Seattle wagon if that's the case

dbacks division will be pretty tough this year with the dodgers and the giants both being stacked but they could easily surprise people and sneak into the playoffs.

D-Backs have bullpen issues but I agree they're getting looked over again. Kennedy, Cahill, Mccarthy, Miley are a very above average starting 4. I project Skaggs makes the team out of camp plus they also should get Hudson back at some point next season

OK, I haven't seen many sleepers posted yet, so here's one: the Pirates. Only 4 games below .500 last season, and all they did was get better. They didn't hit the shitskids until August.
Not saying that they will crush the playoffs. I am saying that they have improved since last season, and should be able to at least add 8 more wins to their total, putting them four or five games over .500. Only 9-12 more wins on top of last year's total, and they are a playoff team. In a shitty division, stuff like that is possible.

I can see the point electric_ makes and since 15 teams are ranked, thanks to ties in the odds, how about a sleeper from among the also rans. Mine will be Royals
I also find it interesting that even with last years improvement the Orioles are the only AL East team NOT in the top 15. some of us have called for regression and oddsmakers must agree.

I'll throw Cleveland out there. Above average lineup and with a rebound from Masterson/Jimenez we could see them hover around .500. Swisher/Reynolds signings have upside and Cabrera/Kipnis certainly can hold their own with many SS/2B. Carlos Santana is an underrated catcher who could hit 25+ HR.
Rotation is certainly a question mark.. Bauer is still developing but likely sees a good amount of work this year, Kazmir is a longshot at cracking the roster but he's shown promise in winter ball. Masterson could use another pitch but has posted good numbers before with what he has and Jimenez was an ace only a few short years ago.
Certainly not going to win the division but likely will be able to get a good O/U number on total wins as they only won 68 last year,
Wonder if they will be heavy with the lefties this season like last season. If I remember correctly they fared really well vs RHP compared to lefties.

"All they did was get better?" I'd call it an epic collapse, but I'm still high on the Ratties. Of course, it's been 20 years
