Not much tonight that fall into the parameters I look over. This is the only other one. Not sure this one is going to get played in its entirety as rain has been off & on here today.

Hey Phan, good thread man I too like to use line movement to help determine my wagers. As the quote goes, Vegas was not built on losses so I always prefer to be on the side of the books rahter then the public. Reverse line movement is almost an automatic bet for me. Surprised you weren't on the reds last night as there was significant reverse line movement and sure enough they ended up winning the game as dogs.
Anyways, I had a question for you. Where do you get your information for what side the public money is on? I don't find the covers consensus or the info at vegasinsider very useful as it only shows the volume of bets going on either side, not the total value. I also am not sure I fully trust their numbers as both sites generate most of their revenue from online books, meaning they pretty much work for them.
If you have a place with accurate information and could share it I would greatly appreciate it. Best of luck going forward with your wagers.

I usually use the Covers info and also Sportsbook Spy for totals consensus info. Usually if they don't match at both sites, I toss that game from my view for the night. So if say Covers indicates heavy Over for one, but Sportsbook Spy has it 50-50 or favoring the under = pass. I also monitor The Greek and their Twitter feed. They usually give a sharp money report on games before they start. Not a deciding factor, but if sharp money is on a pick that matches all the other factors I look over, that makes me feel even better. For sides, I also look at TheSpread.com for percentages.
Same thing on sides, if there is varying info from site to site as far as percentages, then I usually pass.
