I didnt make the bet through sportsbook.com. I kept the site private that runs through a local.

skubishack,     what a totally fake story on that cards fan.   odds never go that high first of all.  secondly, look at the fake tickets.  they are all crooked and screwed up. what a scam this guy is pulling

Original poster.....if you made this bet through a local, and you actually got paid, consider yourself an extremely lucky individual.

I placed a very similar bet in September.  $25 to win $25,000 on the Cardinals to win the World Series.  Heading into the playoffs the local told me that his site never should have allowed the wager at such high odds, and he was voiding the bet.  Eventually he wiped out $500 that I owed him from other bets.  So instead of a $25,000 pay day, I ended up with a measly $500.

I am not going to read this entire thread and inspect all of the posts, but booski @ post #468 you have no clue what you are talking about.  The odds absolutely got this high, and I believe there were even higher at one point.

I said 2 weeks ago we should take Philly to win the SB and that was at 1750 at my book, someone said it was 2700 right after, well now it's 10-1-

Might still be good value-probably have until Sunday-they have the potential and so did the Cards and that's all you need...thoughts?

I dedicate this Forum to value future bets we all put our minds on...
