STL +40000 to win NL

They don't have the pitching to beat the Phillies, Brewers, and/or Diamondbacks. But, way to see an opportunity and jump on it. 

I hate the Braves. So pulling for you to at least have the chance!

Obviously my best play would be for STL to get in. Im not a prof gambler, so any advice would be appreciated from anyone. I'd begin to hedge tonight if thats the best case scenario. Might follow totalsguys advice and put 50 on Houston tonight. Just wondering what you guys would do in this situation. Any advice is welcome!

I would.. starting tonight.  How you go about is up to you.  For example 400 on houston.  If Stlouis loses you win about 600.  If they win and an extra game manana, then bet on Atlanta, 1000.
Stloius lose , you ll get around 500 -- depends on odds.  Stloius gets in.
Now you are down around 1500 so bet other teams for series to win 2000 or whatever you want to pockets. Maybe 3-1 odds? then you have to bet 6000 to win 2000.  Stlouis loses you pockets around 500. If they go to NL championship, you have about 12500 to do however you want to do with it.   Good Luck

I think STL rolls tonight. Not touching houston ML
Remember Houston is 

I would start hedging if STL plays @atl 1 game playoffs

Yes Houston is  but It's baseball. Anything can happen and when you have a chance to get a ticket of STL 125-1 odds in playoffs while making money (10 times of initial investment)  I wouldn't do any other way.

Nah. Wait til they are in the playoffs. Right now you're only in for $50. If they dont get in, you are out $50. They have to win a lot of games before you cash that ticket. Let it ride tonight and then maybe drop a few hundred on Atlanta tomorrow if that game happens.....then go from there.

its probably gonna be just a huge cocktease for you because i see no way u can beat halladay and lee who never lose a playoff game pitching 4 out of 7, then oh by the way u got another cy young hamels and another one in oswalt, lmao its a joke, ill be rooting for u though

Clearly you are unaware of the fact the Cards are the only team to have a winning record against the Phills this year at 6-3. Clearly an idiot if you think in the sport of baseball something can not happen. Guessing you are just coming out from under your rock to watch 2 god awful teams blow almost double digit leads in a month. Cards have the better sticks and Phills have the better arms. Gun to my head obviously Philly is the pick but to say a team has no chance in baseball is flat out stupid.

On the other hand great bet if you made it.
