REALLY????????????????????
LAST GAME VS CARDS....................Hammel 6 1/3 IP with 5 hits given up and 1 earned.................................
PLZ GET FACTS STR
Unless cards pik up a Beltran or a Puhols...........ITS OVER
I SAID IT 3 WEEKS AGO...............Cards finish no better than 4th,maybe 3rd and are out of Post Season contention
No Beltran is crushing this team and it shows
GIVE ME THE INSPIRED CUBS OVER THESE SCRUBS

I have my biggest wager of the year on the cubs tonight (tied for biggest wager) I tend to look for spots to really unload and this spot is better than most I've seen in quite a while (besides that easy GSW line last night at +7.5.
Cubs are playing inspired ball, they are getting some good innings from their starting pitching, and castro is growing up before our eyes this season. The cards are a sinking ship, and I don't see a whole lot of life in this club. Allen Craig has been a shadow of his old self so far this season and it's really hurting the top of their order. Matt Holiday Is showing no patience at the plate, and Carpenter is not even close to getting on base like he was last year.
Cubs have not swept the Cards in 4 years, and havn't really had an opportunity to either until now. They're at home and have won 4 of their last 5.
Great spot here for the cubs with one of their hottest pitchers on the mound and there will be a packed stadium tonight for Sunday night baseball.

Peralta is the only one who has faced Hammel more than a couple of games. He has hit Hammel well at 7 for 15 with 1 double, 2 homers, 1 walk and 8 rbi's. Holliday and Ellis have faced Hammel in a couple of games and hit him well. Molina and Jay have seen him in one game (both are 1 for 3).
To say that they have hit him well is a misnomer due to the limited amount of times/AB's

Yes,,,this is actually a better read than my post and the limited number of bats is significant to the HITTING HIM WELL statement. Understand that several cards have good averages but last game Hammel shut them down and that as well can be misconstrued as its only 1 game
Good pts Houston
