Blue Jays ML (+150) to win 5 units

The Jays are a hard working team and this is going to be one of the biggest games for them of the season and they are getting amazing value of +150 at home.  Halladay does not have any bitter feelings towards the Jays as the crowd adores him so he will not have that killer instinct.  The Doctor has already played against the Jays once and is not overly excited about this match.  The Jays are rolling a good pitcher to the mound in Villanueva.  V gave up only 2 earned runs on the road to good hitting ball clubs in Cincy and St. Lou.  He has also shut down the Yankees this year and faces great lineups in the AL East on a regular basis.  Villanueva is 5-1 heating up and I think he's gonna pitch a great game today and the Jays get a big win in front of a sold out crowd.  Halladay is off of a couple long outings as well and I think he just wants to get this one over and done with.

Other 2 plays:

Mets ML (+113) to win 3.5 units

The Mets have been crushing the ball of late and had 10 hits yesterday but were unable to cash in the runs.  Gee has quietly been pitching well and I think he can limit the Yanks in this one.  Colon is coming off of the DL and at this age if his command is off he is gonna get whacked as his fastball is not what it used to be.  I think the Mets smack him around the park and with this being a nationally televised game and a chance to avoid going below .500 again after they worked so hard to get above it I think the Mets have the pitching advantage and motivational advantage.

Twins ML (+105) to win 3.5 units

Locked this puppy in yesterday before bed.  I was on the Twinkies yesterday for 5 units and I like them again.  Narveson is not a good pitcher and should not be laying juice with a disgusting road team in the Brewers against a Twins team trying to avenge last weeks sweep to the Brew Crew.  The Twins have won 3 in a row and the Brewers have lost 4 in a row by big margins on the road.  Pavano is a good pitcher and was doing well against the Brewers last week until he got in a jam in the 4th.  Pavano should bounce back tonight.  Also with Narveson he tends to get rouged up on the road and roughed up the 2nd time he faces a team in a season.  I'll gladly take the Twinkies as a dog tonight.

ya they had their blunders yesterday so today they won't be as jittery and I think Halladay is gonna be more nervous ptiching in front of a crowd that has applauded him so much so there's no hate.  This is similar to when the Red Sox fans gave Clemens an ovation for 300th win when on the Yankees but then cheered hard against him the next game out.  This crowd will be pro Jays.

we'll see what happens baseball is a much tougher animal to pinpoint a sure winner but I think all of these plays have a great chance to hit and have value so hopefully things go our way today
