Surely I am not the only one who looks to see which team has to travel to play 2 games in 24 hours. Here are a few to look at and discuss.
Cincy at Atlanta. Atlanta was already home while Cincy is traveling after playing yesterday. Reds RH Mike Leake (0-1, 3.90 ERA) vs. Braves RH Shelby Miller (3-0, 2.05) 460 miles traveled, tho probably only 2 hours by plane.
Seattle @ Houston. Seattle is already in Texas after playing the Rangers yesterday. Houston, although very hot right now, is traveling after playing in San Diego yesterday. Mariners LH James Paxton (0-2, 6.86 ERA) vs. Astros RH Scott Feldman (2-2, 4.81) 1,470 miles traveled for Houston from yesterday to today.
Chicago White Sox @ Minnesota. Twins were at home yesterday while the Sox are traveling from Baltimore. White Sox LH Chris Sale (2-0, 2.37 ERA) vs. Twins RH Trevor May (1-1, 4.91) 1,197 miles traveled for Chicago.
Toronto at Cleveland. Toronto really don't have to travel very far from Boston, it is a little over a 600 mile trip. Don't know how much of a difference that will make.
Detroit @ KC. Both teams are traveling, KC has to travel a little over 800 miles compared to a little over 400 for Detroit.

I like the Braves in this one for sure. This season, they are 3-0 in the first game of a home series while the Reds are 0-3 in the first game of an away series. While they didn't play much last season, the Reds went 0-3 vs Braves (all 3 games played in ATL).
Chris Sale 8-1 lifetime vs Twins. Also 10-1 lifetime in the month of April. Not concerned. The Twins are 1-5 at home off a home loss if they scored 5 or more in
that loss. Chicago is 5-1 on the road off a road loss by 5 or more runs
and scored 2 or less runs. May is also pitching for the Twins and he is horrible. Scoring in bunches for the Sox tonight while Sale is going to keep the Twins' scoring low.
As for Toronto, well, bet the house against House, he is horrible. If you're really concerned, take the over, it is only 8. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jays their selves put up double digits in this one.
As a Royals fan, I know about them, they are 7-0 on Game 1 of a series this season including 9-0 going back to last season. Unfortunately for them, it would have been 10-0 but they lost @ home opening night against the team they are facing tonight - Detroit. I personally am staying away from this one.
