i don't see significant leadership in the clubhouse for this team...

last night, fielder bounces a throw in the dirt at home allowing winning run to score...afterwards, prince says basically well, it's one game, 162-game season, gotta put it behind us blah blah blah...

laissez-faire group, it appears....

ok, mistakes are gonna happen..the difference is when guys like gibson, parrish, morris played for DET, they weren't perfect BUT at least when things went wrong you knew they were pissed...

not sure what a managerial change accomplishes...you've still got a station-to-station team that doesn't do the little things that help win games...

the way things are goin, they could bring in francona and guys would be drinkin beer and eating fried chicken in the clubhouse durin games

more of a a wakeup call to the current players...either play fundamental ball or we will adjust your playing time. it would be better if they were drinking beer and eating fried chicken...then at least they could have an excuse of why they are playing poorly. right now..they dont have a legit one
