TIM ANDERSON =OVERRATED!!

Why does this guy get so many endorsement deals and considered one of the faces of the MLB? He’s a decent hitter for average and defensive player but nothing special in my opinion.  Modern day Jackie Robinson my arse. He can’t even hold Tim Rock Raines or Ricky Henderson’s jock straps!’

He is batting over .300.....How many SS are batting over .300?   

Please never mention Anderson in the company of Raines & Henderson again.

Anderson is a wanna be know it all arse

In fact...4 straight years hitting over .300...pretty impressive...His HR and RBI numbers are lacking but he gets a lot of hits...which is why he bats leadoff...

Anderson is a solid player but he's no HOF guy and always running his mouth

 Yeah but he’s nowhere near the level of wade boggs, rock Rains or Henderson. He’s way overrated for as much of a generational talent the woke generation say he is!

He’s one of the best pure hitters in baseball & a legitimate threat to win the batting title every year. He’s not good defensively & will eventually be moved to second base or the outfield.

 He's actually pretty awful defensively. I'm not sure how he's been worth 18+BWAR for his career considering he has been just 5 percent above league average offensive production and well below 5% of league average defensively. It just doesn't add up.

A SS's defense is a pretty important aspect of his game, and Anderson is a garbage defensive SS. Overrated is an understatement IMO.

 Prime years are typically considered 26-31. He's not just entering his prime. He's toward the end or is at the middle to end depending how you look at it. He has a good lifetime average, but that .316 OBP leaves a lot to be desired. I'd rather have a SS that hit .240/.320 and played at least league average defense over Anderson.
