First, understand that you made mistake by making a bet like that in the first place. If you were going to seriously consider hedging and paying double juice if the first 3 legs hit, why should you have included the 4 th leg in the first place?

Anyway, that takes us to the present. You have about $1168 equity in your ticket (the $250 original investment plus an additional $918 or so additinal equity from the 3 wins.) If you were starting from scratch and hadn't made the parlay, would you be betting $1168 to win $212 on Edgar? If the answer is no, you should hedge and cash out unless you frel like rolling the dice.

You have a bet on a -550 favorite that if you win you are getting 2-1 on,anyone else has to lay 5.5-1 odds on him,why would you ever hedge that advantage? hedging is one of the worst thing you can do besides betting a parlay in the first place. All you are doing now is cutting into your profit,the key to winning is to maximize profit. Some will not agree with me and tell you to hedge and take a for sure profit,the sharps will tell you what I told you.
