Carpenter fairs pretty well against the Brewers and last season gave up only 3 runs in 23 innings against them last season. All 3 runs were allowed in 1 game that the Cards won 10-3. Edmonds hits .333 (5-15) and Fielders hits .364 (4-11) but that's about it from the Brewers. However...Pujols and Holliday are both 5-16 (.313) and Lopez is 7-21 (.333) against Wolf. Now if the lineup is as I expect it to be with Lopez, Pujols and Holliday hitting 2-3-4...that could be a problem for Wolf in his time in the game, and more importantly, in the 1st innings. He gave up 1 run in the first inning against the Rockies in his first start. My lean would be the Cardinals (1st 5 innings) but I haven't decided if I want to put money in it yet. And I don't trust the Cardinals' bullpen so 1st 5 would be the way to go.

not to mention, lower juice on the 1st 5

Actually...I got 4 cents higher.
Adding...
Cardinals -145 (1st 5 innings)
Risking 2.9 units to win 2 units
Refer to post #130. I think the top of the Cardinals lineup does damage early, but I don't know if the bullpen can hold it late.
No more tonight. Hopefully I can salvage a bit with the night cap.
