The Angels on some level have to be looking ahead to their hope opener tomorrow night against Texas
I think this is completely misguided rationale to be honest. It's the first series of the year.....I don't think we're dealing with look ahead situations like you would playing a division rival at home in a make or break series at the end of a long road trip. Besides, baseball is much more about execution and skill; it's not nearly as emotional as football. In fact, T. Hunter has been geeked up all series and he's 0 for whatever now.
Your points about Santana are valid. The look ahead angle is a bunch of B.S. if you ask me. GL

When I say looking ahead, im more looking at whether or not some starting players on the angels will be rested today considering it was a night game last night and a "get away" early game today.. It might be too early in the season but until the lineups are announced its possible.

I know because i stood at the window for 45 minutes this morning
watching people make bets and not one person took ANA.
75% of the people took 968 so i was really leery of MIN.

I respect your knowledge and you have been tearing it up in hockey, but I really don't think you can use 1. Wagerline or Sports Insight numbers, or 2. A quick sampling of plays at a Vegas window to see what side sharps are on.
This reverse line movement and all that crap is over-rated IMO. I just don't see how people can use these small samples and automatically assume what side sharps are on.
All that said, I would find it hard to believe that the sharps loved Anaheim today. But I say that without any information to back it up.

You're 100% right about 1 and 2.
Who the fuck knows what the sharps are on really.
Sharps aren't always right anyways.
Just cap the game and read the lines and hope for the best. IMO
