Houston -170... vs Martin Perez with his 2.76 ERA... granted, he has been a bit worse than that here in August at 4.24 ERA during this month.. but still...

Spin: Brown worked as both a starter and a reliever for Triple-A Sugar Land this season, posting a 2.55 ERA and 31.5 percent strikeout rate in 106 innings. He was called up Thursday, but his role down the stretch was initially unclear. Whether or not he sticks in the rotation beyond Monday's outing may depend on how he performs. Control will be key, as his strong stat line in the minors came with a poor 10.6 percent walk rate.

 With all due respect... that certainly doesn't mean they are going to win 60% of the rest of their games... at best, they lose 4 of every 10 left...

Astros just faced Perez last week and he gave up 5 runs in 5 innings. Have u seen the Rangers last 2 weeks. Complete free fall.  All the Astros pitcher need to do is pitch 4 innings.. bullpen takes over. They are like the Dodgers. Does pitching matchups really matter?  Astros are 12-4 vs the Rangers this season.
