Well, this sucks. I didn't cap all of last night's games completely incorrectly (Phil Hughes DID suck, and Lannan did pitch just fine... the Nationals just offered up NO run support, and their bullpen sucked the big one. And, oh yeah, the Athletics were the first team in the HISTORY OF THE MLB to give up 3 grand slams in a single game.
OK, deep breath. It's time for.... my picks (or at least my early leans)!
======================
Milwaukee Brewers ML (-190) and RL -1.5 (+115) Brewers are money at home, and the Cubs have more errors than any other team in baseball. That doesn't bode well for Lopez, who, by the way, has posted a 7.78 ERA in away games this year, as well as a 4.41 ERA over his last 3 games (St. Louis, Houston, Washington). On the other side, Randy Wolf has posted a pretty respectable 3.18 ERA in home games, and a even more respectable 2.42 ERA over his last 3 starts (Mets, Dodgers, St. Louis). Milwaukee is 5-1 against the Cubs at home this season, and has a 47-16 record for home games. Will probably put even money on the ML and RL -1.5 to effectively create a Brewers RL -1 (-145).
Boston Red Sox ML (-150) Boston's hot, and the Athletics are playing on the road. After last night, I have completely lost faith in the A's bullpen against a capable hitting lineup. Furthermore, Gio Gonzalez struggles against the Red Sox, who have the majority of their powerful hitting lineup back (too bad Youkilis is still on the DL). Tim Wakefield is getting a sixth attempt at his 200th win, and this time, it's a home game with the deck stacked in his favor. I think that after last night's embarrassing 9-22 loss to the Yankees, the Athletics will continue to slide, and the Red Sox will plow forward after their 6-0 road victory against the Rangers.
Rockies/Dodgers OVER 7.5 (-110) Seems like a low total for two sub-par pitchers, especially with Colorado's hitting lineup. Rogers is 1-5 against the Dodgers with a 5.59 ERA (career). Lilly faced the Rockies on Saturday, and gave up 3 runs and 3 walks in 4 2/3 innings before leaving the game with a stiff neck. Weather should be partly cloudy, with winds blowing out to right field at 5-10 mph. Sounds like a good night for some runs.

That's all for now. More to come later.
Comments, issues, alibis welcome.
BOL to all (unless you're betting against me).

Atlanta Braves ML (-155) and RL -1.5 (+113) See Nilshu's excellent write-up for this one. He convinced me to take a closer look, and the only thing I could find to stop me from taking this bet was that Hudson is 1-2 in his last 3 starts against the Mets. Given the way the Mets have been (not) playing, and given the way the Braves HAVE been playing, I like this one.
Cheers!

Only one I haven't explained already is the Cincinatti Reds RL -1.5 (+145). Very simple, liking the Reds' lineup and just fading the Nationals; their bats have been ice cold lately, and now they're on the road. Figured it was worth a shot.
BOL, let's get this show on the road!

By the way, I should mention... The reason you see ML and RL -1.5 bets here on the same team is because my book doesn't offer a RL -1. So I'm effectively creating my own.
