Ummmm no, people who hedge need to take some math courses at the local community college.
I can completely understand it's human nature to want to hedge, but it doesn't make sense mathematically.
If u bet $50 to win $2000 (8 teamer) parlay, now......u win the first 7 gms already, of coz u can always choose to let it ride to win $1950. But if u hedge let's say $850........so u'll get the sure money nomatter which team wins.
Team A wins : U'll win $2000-$50-$850 = $900
Team B wins : U'll win &850-$50 = $800
It all depends how much gamble in u & how important the amount of money means to u.
I'll always take a sure win if the units is going to be 8 or more.

It's obnoxious and low class when people claim day after day they play 4 figure games and up and discuss dollar amounts. Some people on here aren't that big and are trying to build a bankroll slowly.
We've all been there and I've never respected cappers that talk that big money shit it shouldn't matter unless you're either trying to impress people you don't know, or make people you don't know feel small.
