Why does LAA -130 and LAD over 8.5 feel like the lock of the century?

Going to parlay these 2 with kraken ML and call it a night gl 

I'm on the Orioles +120. The Angels might've been the lock of the century if Shohei Ohtani was guaranteed to pitch all 9 innings and was also allowed to bat in all 9 spots in the order.

No. It's not. Three of his 4 wins came against the Nationals, Royals, and A's. His three most recent starts have been less than stellar (two of them quite poor in fact). Tonight he's pitching against a 13-6 home team. The O's at Camden ain't no muthaphuckin' joke.

Ohtani's form has kinda slipped a bit in recent games... 

O's have the second best record in baseball. That being said, throw out the 1st game vs Pitt, 6 runs scored, they've only scored 10 runs combined in 6 of the last 7 including 2 shutouts, TB and Pitt. The Angels are actually scoring more RPG than the O's. Might be a good 1st 5 play, -.5, -105 Angels, count me in on that.

Whenever I hear "lock", I go the other way.

Ohtani has not been good his last 3 outings......12 earned runs in his last 18 innings...

Why throw that one out?

In Rodriguez' last 2 starts, TB, KC, 9.1 IP, 15 hits, 8 ERs, 5 HRs.

 It's one out of 7 games. And I did mention it but in 6 of 7 games they've struggled scoring, it's a bit of a scoring drought for the O's who are a good hitting team. Add the 6 in, it's still only 16 runs in 7 games, 2.29 RPG.

 He actually only gave up 14 hits in those 18 IP but got stung by the long ball with men on base, 5 HRs. They're a little tougher to come by at Camden now. And he was respectable his last outing vs Stros.

Under f5 is the most solid plays. Ohtani never gets run support and Angel bullpen implodes late in the inning. 

Whenever someone is talking about locks I begin to question my own picks 

I make LAA / Balt a coin toss.  Curious why you think its a great lock??
