Hey Spark good luck in the playoffs and this is coming from a diehard Sox fan. ,but a true baseball fan .tonights game with these two guys on the the mound is classic. Enjoy.

As a preference...I'd choose the Rangers as the team I'd rather face. But I think the Rays can make a clean sweep here with Shields/Price going Game's 1 and 2.

Looks like we'll continue to show the league the best division in baseball.

Not betting the game. I do think the Yanks edge out the Tigers, though. Simply because of the reason you mentioned. Verlander has had an incredible season...but he also failed to win either of the 2 games he started against the Yanks this season while the Tigers lost.

I like the Yanks but this will be a great game.

I can see it now. The Yankees will hit one of those BS popfly homers to right field that will be a difference maker and everyone will bitch and complain, not understanding that the Tigers have that same short porch.
