Not betting the game. I do think the Yanks edge out the Tigers, though. Simply because of the reason you mentioned. Verlander has had an incredible season...but he also failed to win either of the 2 games he started against the Yanks this season while the Tigers lost.
I like the Yanks but this will be a great game.
I can see it now. The Yankees will hit one of those BS popfly homers to right field that will be a difference maker and everyone will bitch and complain, not understanding that the Tigers have that same short porch.

If CC isn't used...he's clearly going Game 1. The rest are uncertain. I wonder if Burnett earned himself a Game 2 start with Garcia pitching like he did. Hell...I wonder if Colon comes in to take Garcia's spot. Probably not since Garcia went 6 scoreless and 2 hits in his start against Texas this year and Bartolo was lit up for 5 runs in 4.1 innings in his start against the Rangers this season.
However...lets finish Game 5 first.
