Wiggington fouls out
Mid 8th
CC with 106 pitches and did pretty well tonight. Got some DPs and a lot of ground balls overall. Got behind a lot of batters though but to have 106 pitches through 8 is really saying how impatient O's batters were today.
4-1 Yanks with Joba warming up in the pen.

Cervelli grounds out and Joba coming in for the save. Interesting.
Mo hasn't pitched since Friday too.

Mo is rested but hasn't even gotten up in the bullpen.
I never understand Girardi. He'll put him in even with 2 outs and the guy before him gave up a home run to make it a 3 run lead, but he won't put him in now? It doesn't seem like he's injured and I haven't heard anything about him being injured. I'm so confused.
Tejada grounds out by the way. 1 away

I'll certainly be watching the postgame show tonight. I usually do anyway after a win, but so many weird things happened tonight.
The weirdest of them all...this is about a 2 and a half hour game. For the Yankees!!!

Posada did some strength training with Geno after the game and didn't feel any added pain. No word on the MRI though.
Mo had a pain in his side and was unavailable.
It's considered his "flank" apparently. They're just calling it his side.

Mo calls it tightness. He's not worried. He threw today and felt "OK" but he'll throw off the mound tomorrow and find out.
Uh Oh...Posada, Mariano, Pettitte and Jeter were on the cover of the issue of SI that came out on Friday.
