he did, Bryan Cranston is his name.  It was in a Vanity Fair? or Rolling Stone article a few months ago.  Not sure what your talking about but meth is illegal also

I was saying meth would not exist if people had other ways to get fucked up, they can find meth easier than they can find weed, would they just get high on weed if they could find it??Guess we will never know!??

We have a few things in play here for the final 8 episodes:

1. Hank is loyal to his family and tends to turn a blind-eye when it comes to their shortcomings. His wife's stealing problem, Skylar's infidelity, Walt's "gambling problem," Walt. Jr. not adhering to his parents or uncle and aunt's rules and so forth. Will he continue to turn a blind eye and just tell Walt to leave town and he tell people that he killed or exiled Heisenburg? That way Skylar and his niece and nephew are not embarrassed by everyone in town knowing their "Husband/Dad" was a Drug Kingpin. Also embarrassing for Hank that it was right under his nose. Gus was already embarrassing for him how much more will he be emarrassed that it was his own Brother-In-Law and he watched his kids at his home while he cooked.

2. Will anybody in the DEA or FBI office believe that Hank did not know his Brother-In-Law was Heisenburg? I mean Walt would come into the office all the time and have closed door meetings with Hank with the shutters closed. Gus did the same thing. Also, Hank benefited from Walt's drug income because Walt paid for Hank's Physical Therapy.

3. Is it me or does Walt want to have this big gun shootout on TV and die that way? He has a nasty craving for recognition. He wants EVERYONE to know that the Blue Meth is his and nobody can make it as pure as he did. He also wants everyone to know that he killed Gus and that he is now boss. This guy wants everyone to know and say his name and wants to go down in history.

4. Walt's cancer is back I believe and he let his hair grow back because this time he is not undergoing Chemo and instead will have a showdown and die getting shot, which is the recognition he wants. He wants to go down like Tuco and Gus as weird as that sounds. 

The reason I say that Walt's cancer is back is that in the 1st episode in the diner with his hair back he coughs similar to what he use to cough when he had the cancer in previous seasons when he was a teacher still. 

Just some thoughts. darn breaking it up into two seasons. Give the people what they want and that is 1 full 16 episode season to end it. Waiting 2 years WTF is that bullshit. Give the people what they want

I mean waiting 1 year for the final 8 episodes is stupid but it's a business and I understand. Still stupid as a fan. What if the NFL played 8 games then waited a full year to play the final 8?

That diner was in New Mexico though so even on his 52nd Bday he is is New Mexico just with a fake id and his hair grown back and the gun. He did say that gun would never leave town.

What if they played all the tables of the WSOP and then when they had 9 players at the final table they stopped and played the final 6 months later? Nevermind..

Finally caught up, waited for Season 5 to come to Netflix.  Watched all 8 episodes over the past two days.  Man, did Walt become unlikable in this season, made me feel bad for Skylar, which is an amazing feat since she was so annoying the first 4 seasons.

They could play this out a bunch of ways for the final 8, can't wait to see it, will not be waiting for them to come to Netflix.

I watched season 3 and some of 4 again because I never watched repeats but I forgot how great this show truly was.  I say was because season 5 was horrific.  Hopefully they can end this with some kind of decent ending but not holding my breath, the writers have run out of ideas.

Watched Season 5 on Netflix, and totally disagree with you.  I enjoyed it just as much as the previous 4.

Even though you didn't like Season 5, I'm gonna say the final scene in last night's first episode will more than make up for it.  The only bad thing I can say is I am so used to binge watching this show, that I am not used to having to wait for the next episode.  That part sucks.

 I tried but it wasn't really that interesting. From what I understand, two detectives killed a third detective that was dirty, but they are all a little bit dirty. Nothing to really set the hook at all.
