when was rita killed? i presume after dark, b/c of her cellphone message mentioning how beautiful the moon was. but trinity picked up his car while it was still daylight ... so if dexter didn't follow trinity from the repair shop, how did dexter find him after he left the morgan house?
A co-worker has read 3 or 4 of them. In the books, Dexter is teaching cody and nester to KILL! Also in the book, HE lets the ICe tTruck Killer GO FREE! Deb also know about his dark passenger. They are very different, yet very similar.
I thought Deb would have figured it out. It is right there! Dexter thought she knew. WTF was she thinking when she sees him with no flak jacket in the raid.
BY far, Jon Lithgow was the best character in the entire show. I love Harry, but Lithgow is Intense. The first movie I saw him in I can remember is Harry and the Hendersons, the next was Richochet, which was one of the best criminals ever on film.

He followed him from the repair shop. he didn't need to follow him to the repair shor because he had the address on the reciept.
By the way, what cool fucking car, but really, TOP DOWN???? I doubt that, it is easier to film with the top down.
I thought it was really good. I watch this show with my wife and I thought Rita was restricting his dark passenger. I believe Rita's killing has freed Dexter. Now he doesn't need to keep his appartment hidden(Dex Moves back into the appartment next season, as Nester and Cody will be written out altogether), hide his gear in a storage shed, or sneak around waiting for his wife to see him do something bizzare(knock out lights).
The plot of the entire season was can Dexter have a normal family and still carry his dark passenger. All season he was conflicted with his family and Trinity's family. At first, Dexter saw Trinity's family as wholesome and good and they kept him hidden from the real world. What he learned was that Trinity's darkness ruined any chance of his family being normal. Dexter wanted to learn from him to see how he does it and in the end he paid the ultimate price with him not being able to protect his family.
Born in Blood was the parallel Dexter uses to show that both he and his son have started on the same path. In the books, Dex teaches Cody and Nester to kill, somehos I think he is going to pass this skill on to his son, but I am not seeing the time line. The show just hit the reset button, which I love, and they are starting from scratch.
Deb is one fine piece of ass! I think Dex moves back into his apartment and they will share it for a small amount of time until he is healed. He is going to be one pissed off Hombre and I think he is going to kill more and with reckless abandone. Maybe the code will be broken again. For me, it almost seems as Harry has become Dex's Dark Passenger.
