Ok your probably right. I kinda forgot that they had so much extra time in the 4th level.
When everything was happening withing seconds or minutes on the first 3 levels they had hours in that duration.
I'm going to see the movie again this weekend in IMAX (watched it in a normal theatre the first time). I think it will be interesting to watch it over when you know the ending and have a better idea of whats going on with the film.
This is the kind of movie that you will be able to watch over and over again without getting bored with it I think.

I think the ending was real. He remembers the whole sequence of waking up, going through customs, and back to the home to see his kids. If it were a dream, he wouldve just been at his house...In the dreams, the top spins flawlessly, at the end you can see it start to stumble, and supposudly at the end of the credits you hear it drop

Movie is simply amazing. Jumped into my top 5 of all time.
Read something online that really fucked with my head. What if the actual concept of the movie was that Michael Caine and Juno performed the Inception ON Cobb to convience him that the authorities weren't after him and he was still dreaming? The 1st scene we're introduced to Michael Caine he does say to Cobb "when are you coming back to the real world already." Which could conclude that the whole film is Cobb's dream. I mean, he was in "limbo" for so long that he could have easily lost his grasp on reality and been stuck in between what is real and fake. This would also mean the end scene where Mal is explaining things true. Would also explain why she was showing up in all the dreams.
I don't see what the big deal about the top spinning is? It was Mal's totem, not Cobb's. And Joseph Gordon Levitt clearlys says to Juno that the totem can only be touched by its owner or it holds no significance. JGL also says the purpose of the totem is to tell if you ARE STUCK IN SOMEONE ELSE'S DREAM, not your own. Not only was Cobb's top actually Mal's but Saito spins it when Cobb finds him in "limbo."
This movie is so great I could talk about it forever. I could be completly wrong about the top and I don't think I believe the theory I posted about Cobb being the one Inception was done on. Never-the-less I wanted to post it because It's something interesting to think about when watching this movie for a 2nd or 3rd time.

You have to assume that he shot and killed Dom then pulled the trigger on himself (they never actually showed you what happened...just that he was reaching for his gun).

The only reason they wouldn't wake up the deeper they went is because of the heavy sedation. Mal and Cobb went deep and eventually into limbo without sedation therefore killing themselves brought then back to "reality." You have to assume that Saito being so old in Limbo that a significiant amount of time has passed and the sedation has already worn off.

See this is actually very interesting.
Because they both woke up with about 20 minutes left in the flight.
How long were they supposed to be out for?
When did the others wake up?
They said they would need almost the entire 10 hours to pull off their plan so you have to assume the other woke up pretty much around the same time as they did.
BUT
At the 4th level "limbo" world only a few minutes would seem like years and years.
Look at how long they had at the 3rd level when the van was falling.
I have to watch this movie again lol. I'm probably gonna go tomorrow night.

Thats an interesting theory. But I would think it's a little TOO complex.
I mean the trick to having such a great twist would be to let the audience in on the twist at the end right?
I also agree that actuality the top has nothing to do with Cobb but 99% of the people who watched the movie (including myself to be honest) did not catch that or think about it at the time they watched the final scene.
Meaning if they did have the top topple over most people would have fell for the idea that the whole movie was his dream.
Leaving it as an unknown makes the movie.
Like you said there is so much you will be able to pick up on the 2nd and 3rd time around i'm actually more excited to watch it again then i was the first time around.

I don't know if it's the greatest movie ever made, but it was pretty damn awesome bro. For someone to just think of that screenplay is pretty crazy. Very creative mind somebody has.
