Men of Respect (1990) on Encore-Drama channel Saturday Oct 22nd @ 9:10 pm and Sunday Oct 23rd @ 11:15 am pacific time.
the telling of Shakespeare's Macbeth in New York Mafia setting with John Turturro as Mike Battaglia (Macbeth), Katherine Borowitz as his wife Ruthie (Lady Macbeth), Rod Steiger as Mafia boss Charlie D'Amico (King Duncan), Dennis Farina as Bankie Como (Banquo), Stanley Tucci as Mal D'Amico (Malcolm) and the late Peter Boyle as Matt Duffy (Macduff)
I thought it was VERY well acted BUT a bit slow in the middle. will worth watcjing IF you are into either Mafia crime stories or Shakespeare.
