Up In the Air

Good movie, good acting.  A little depressing, but worth a watch.  I'm not a big fan of the chick in it(Anna Kendrick), but she grew on me by the end.  A guest appearence by Gar from Mask(Sam Elliot) cracked me up as well.

Theater

The Wolfman  -- maybe my expectations were too high, but I thought this was lame.

Edge of Darkness -- not the greatest movie, but kept me interested to the end which is about all you can asks from alot of the new movies these days.

DVD

What Lies Beneath -- Hard to believe I had never seen this before.  I liked it.  Good stuff.

30 days of Night -- started out really cool, had me interested, and then I thought it ended up like alot of vampire movies, and that is stupid vampire stuff.  They should have made it alot scarier, would have been good. 

Terminator Salvation -- if you don't compare it to the other Terminators then it is good.  If you do compare it then I say it wasn't.

Just saw inglorious bastards... think it was better than hurt locker...i actually want to see this again just to watch the person hunter act again and watch the guy act like ted williams and bash the nazi's head in.

I was very disappointed in this movie......Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del Toro are both in this, and it's such a fricking lamely done film. Fell asleep...

Miss March

Not sure what made me flip to this movie on cable.  Certainly not an award winner, but they pull no punches and were balls to the wall with this "raunchy comedy" style movie.  Overall pretty terrible, but it did make me laugh out loud quite a few times.

Observe and Report

I'm unsure what to make of this one.  Pretty dark for a Seth Rogen flick.  It had a few funny scenes, but for the most part it was pretty bleak.  It's like they tried hard to make the cast more "real" than most comedies of this nature, but doing so made it kind of depressing.  No one is likeable, everyone had some sort of affliction, and it was just goofy enough that the "dramatic" parts couldn't really hit home.  Meh.

Public Enemies

Meh.  It was okay.  It dragged on early.  I had no idea who anyone was other than John Dillinger and Christian Bale's character.  The movie seemed to jump from one random scene to the next.  But the last 45 minutes were decent and saved the movie.  I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it wasn't a "bad" movie.

Being out of work is fucking great!  Catching up on a lot of movies, tv, and videogames!!!!
