Its close enough to June. I feel like starting this one


The Happening....UGH. I went in kind of thinking it would suck so i was not dissapointed. It was not good. No suspense just not much of anything except awful dialogue , story and acting. Kind if like  a Mystery Science Theater 3000 movie without the robots and Mike sitting in the front row.

Fred Claus if you looked at a cast of Kevin Spacey,Paul Giamatti, Vince Vaughn, Rachel Weisz, Elizabeth Banks you would look forward to it. Honestly I didnt hate it. Was a Christmas movie with an alright message. Elizabeth Banks in one of those "Santa suits"
Vince Vaughn kind of mails it in but for what it was it was not a bad movie.

The Perfect Stranger - Ending suprised me, pretty good movie + Halle Berry in that red dress

Funny. . .  I think wee all have On Demand

The Happening - sucked.  Seen worse, but it's blah

The Perfect Stranger - not bad. . .  worth a look.  Especially for Halle Berry if anything

The Happeining was so bad that it was actually funny. I will give it that...SPOILER.....The part where he is in that house talking to the plant

Righteous Kill -  nothing that spectacular.  This movie tried WAY too hard to be something great, and it just wasn't there.

Is it on Demand? I looked for it the other night and just WALL E and Hancock were available. I wont watch a WIll Smith movie by choice but I would sit through Righteous Kill

Righteous Kill (imagine that) saw it on demand about 10 minutes after reading that you guys watched it. I really liked it! Deniro, Pacino were both very good in it. 50 cent is actually a pretty good actor. I found it really enjoyable. I liked how the movie was presented, the timeline and everything. Good suspense SPOILER sort of( if you can figure things out you can figure it out after this certain scene)

OverallI really liked this movie. Id watch it again

Traitor- Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce. another movie I liked. good suspense, some god action. plot had enough in it to keep me interested but not too much that is confuses you and you dont know what the hell is going on. Cheadle and Pearce are very good in it, they are good in most things they are in...Also the main Islam guy was very good also

The ending in Traitor was a bit silly and obvious but overall the movie was good

A History Of Violence - Fade Fade Fade! This movie was awful... horrible acting, the plot moved slow as fuck and it was mostly predictable

Yes it was...awful movie. naked Maria Bello was okay but the movie was horrendously bad

I saw Traitor a couple months ago and liked it as well.

History of Violence was OK, but I have no desire to watch it again

Tropic Thunder...eh  Some parts were funny but overall I didnt like it. it was way too long and I really thought it would be funnier. Every so often Robert Downey Jr had a good line but that was it. Jack Black and Bent Stiller were not funny


I havent seen a really funny movie in a while. Superbad maybe?

Hustle and Flow.......pretty good movie. Much better then I expected.

Raging Bull.....ehhh, pretty good but It did not live up to the hype imo.

Defiance.....worth checking out.

Not my type of movie, but wife wanted it, so we got Paul Blart-Mall Cop..................................STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Worse movie I have seen in a long time. Comedies are supposed to make you laugh. We chuckled once. How this did well at the box office I'll never know.
 
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS DOG.

I watched Cape Fear last night.  Never got around to watching it before.  Pretty good flick. . . great performance by Deniro

Changeling, with Angelina Jolie and Malkovich - based on true events.  Good flick, didn't know about the murders, so kinda took me by surprise in the movie and that might be the thing why I liked it.  I won't put it on my "watch at will" list but proved to be a decent.  Nothing spectacular in it, just a well depicted part of the USA history.

Gran Torino... Good flick   Clint Eastwood slinging out the racial slurs in this one( just about any nationality or race), Lives in the midwest ( Michigan ) I believe in an area with a large Asian community. Learns to get along with his Asian neighbors and defends against the gangs.

Footfist Way - I had high hopes for this one and it was funny at parts but overall just ok.
 
Air I Breathe - ok. Never really cared about any of the characters. Expected more. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Forrest Whitaker, Andy Garcia.
 
Pride and Glory - very good movie about a family of NYC cops. A couple get involved in some dirty business. With Ed Norton, Colin Farrell, Jon Voight.

I forgot about Rock N Rolla. Same guy who did Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Not nearly as good as either of those but still worth a watch.

I watched Tropic Thunder last night.  It was actually better than I thought it would be.  Nothing great, but it wasn't a dud either.  Tom Cruise and Jack Black played some pretty funny roles

Clutch...i agree on Footfist Way but Kenny Powers just cracks me up no matter what he does so I probably liked it more than most would

some good one liners in that movie
