Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) Sergio Leone "Spaghetti Western" with what should have been an excellent cast of Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Jason Robards and a VERY tasty Claudia Cardinale BUT the "Spaghetti" was mushy and the sauce was out of a can. definitely NOT up to the Leone "Dollars" trilogy with Clint Eastwood and the music score was a mess. Fonda's character "Frank" is supposed to be one of the great movie villains but I just didn't see it
it's on EPIX2 Tue July 30 @ 9:00 pm and again Wed July 31st @ 8:30 am pacific time. pretty much BUT a 1960's Claudia Cardinale is always nice to look at. she was one of the true beauties of that film era

check out Matthew McConaughey in The Lincoln Lawyer (2011). excellent courtroom drama with a load of "plot twists". plays on EPIX3 again Tue Aug 6th @ 7:00 pm and repeats Wed Aug 7th @ 7:10 am and 3:00 pm pacific times. definite of three.
just happened to watch Richard III (1995) last night with Ian McKellen in the title roll. Shakespeare's play but set in 1930's Britain. NOT as good as the 1955 Sir Laurence Olivier classic BUT well acted by all involved including McKellen, Annette Bening, Robert Downey, Jr, Maggie Smith and Nigel Hawthorne. excellent introduction to Shakespeare and has some good action esp at the end.
plays on EPIX1 Wed July 31st @ 9:45 pm and EPIX2 Sun Aug 4th @ 11:20 pm pacific times. I rate it of three
