Fast & Furious 6 - was very good some cheesy parts but that's in all movies

Ronin (1998) decent spy-crime action thriller with Robert De Niro and Jean Reno. a LOT of "twists and turns" in plot with some good "shoot 'em up" action and a couple great car chases BUT probably could have cut a half hour off the 2 hour run time and been better. first half hour "set up" gets kinda boring. was on MGM HD Movie channel. just   of three

'The Snowtown Murders'.

On netflix instant...True story.

I've been thinking about this movie for a couple of days now. I'm not sure what to say about it.

Realistic to the point that I almost feel...violated(?)...by the film.

This movie kinda f u c k e d me up a little bit.

mein liebe Frau just watched the  Liberace movie Behind the Candelabra on HBO. she was a big fan of the man and used to drag me to his shows when we would visit Las Vegas in the late 70's and early 80's and SHE said it SUCKED

HBO documentary movie Manhunt on Cnn. recorded this history of the hunt for Osama bin Laden last friday and watched yesterday. was VERY interesting in that it had interviews of the CIA analyst, who were mostly women (aka"The Sisterhood"), that tracked ObL and other al-Qaida leaders from when they first "came on the radar" in 1995 until they finally eliminated him in 2011. went into more detail about the CIA side of anti-terrorist ops than other docs or dramas I have seen on the subject. hopefully Cnn will re-run it in the near future

happend to watch JFK (1991) on Indieplex channels last night. it's Oliver Stone's movie about New Orleans district attorney Jim Garrison's (played by Kevin Costner) investigation of the Kennedy  assassination. VERY well acted by Tommy Lee Jones as Clay Shaw aka Clay Bertrand, Gary Oldman as Lee Harvey Oswald, Joe Pesci as "black op' pilot David Ferrie, Jack Lemmon as private investigator Jack Martin and esp Donald Sutherland as former "black ops" "Col  X". it's VERY long @ over 3 hours BUT you can "page thru" the parts where Costner as Garrison is having domestic problems with his wife Liz (played by Sissy Spacek) which really is NOT part of the conspiracy plot story line.

IF even HALF the allegations made in the movie are TRUE, esp that Kennedy was murdered because he wanted to end American involvement in Vietnam, then this countries govenment was even MORE screwed up back then than it is today

I say    just for the acting alone even IF you don't "buy into" the Kennedy assassination conspiracy

watched the Eddie Murphy SciFi comedy Meet Dave (2008). critics threw rocks, I thought it was a pretty funny premise and had some excellent CGI. the effect of Earth culture on the robot Dave crew is hilarious. good film for the family

Ali (Will Smith/Jon Voight 2001)

Never realized how much Ali just didn't give a s**t about what anyone else thought.  Great movie and I'm not sure why I hadn't seen it until now.

"Bubba Ho-Tep" saw on late movie--Elvis in a nursing home in Texas, along with John Connoly, have to thwart amummy whose robbing other residents souls--very funny and ingeneous, I thought anyway.
