I saw this trailer for a movie called “Hanna” in which an ex-CIA operative trains his daughter to be Hit-Girl. It looked like it could be pretty good and I was planning on seeing it and then at the end I see “rated PG-13.” Are they fucking serious? A movie where an assassin trains his teenage daughter to be an assassin and they go around killing people is rated PG-13?
It seems more and more potentially good movies are getting neutered down to a PG-13 rating just because the studios think they can make more money. Personally I think in many cases just as many people DON’T see it because it got gutted as people that DO see it because of the PG-13 rating.
Anyway, here is a trailer for “Hanna.” I'll still probably watch it on netflix.
