Is it overrated? I never hear anyone talking about it. I hear people talk anout all the bullshit reality shows and that Modern Family horseshit but never this show

the show just got big last year and is on like season 5 or whatever now

As a former Chemistry major, I find a lot of the jokes hilarious and may go over the heads of a typical TV viewer.

Writing is top-notch.

Great show... amazing actors... terrific writing... the only weekly show that I try not to miss.

Those of you who are bashing it, probably don't get the jokes...

I like it, but I think it's one of those shows where, if you've seen five episodes, you've probably seen 90% of the jokes, or variations thereon.

Its an alright show...Modern Family was alright...How I Met Your Mother puts The BIg Bang Theory to shame IMO and Seinfeld is the all time greatest sitcom ever.

Did you guys know the actor who plays Sheldon is actually 39 years old in real life? My buddy told me this and I couldn't believe it... Dude looks like hes late 20s tops.

not close to being a nerd or have too much in common with guys like these cats.

but i got a brain. enjoy hollywood. and appreciate good writing and chemistry. this shows has that.

i agree throwing in blossom was genius. the rosanne reunion of actors wrks. howard is best character. galecki is the worst on the show tho. and jim parsons is now showing his age this season.

good show.

sounds stupid and gayish, but growing up as a young buck i watched golden girls. good writing and chemistry equals entertainment no matter what form..

Is it just me, or do you guys also think that the shows quality have deteriated in the 5 season.

I don't know what it is, but i just don't find the jokes to be all that funny anymore. It seems like they have run out of topics to cover and now it is basically just stuff they have rehashed and the serve us again with a slightly different approach.
