I think this past weeks episode was the best and they will continue to get better. Also, another unlikly theory is Holden because he was at one point a junkie and he did seem to be creepin on HS girls. Anything is possible, I guess we will all find out.

I think you might have hit the nail on the head.  After I watched this weeks episode I thought the same thing.  Plus as we know it was someone who has access to the house that did it given that the cab driver took her home and the light was on then off.  Interesting indeed.

After this weeks episode I think that Belko and Terry are no longer posssible of the killing. Belko admits to being in the house but I just think he is messed up because of his mom, not a killer though.

I think by far the biggest new turn in this weeks episode is the photo of the guy running for mayor shaking hands with Rosie. That photo, plus the fact the she was found in a campaign car HAS to have some connection to the young canidate.

This brings me back to my original guess of Jamie, the sneaky little political puppet. He said right away that they must bury the evidence, and I think he is doing it for his own personal benefit. However I don't think it is as cut and dry as ONE person. Maybe it was the good-looking young canidate and his partner. Who knows and it could be a number of different people. Just excited for the conclusion

Dang.  I just watched the first half hour this morning before work and finished it now.  I see what you are saying now.  Interesting to see what she uncovers at this hotel.  Honestly I always thought that key chain looked odd.  Never could figure out why she didnt' ask the Larssen's if the key chain looked familar and if not then scanned it and ran a internet check.  You would have thought that they would have come up with a match must faster than now.

been following this series and man do I feel like an asshole after tonight's episode.............really?  a "filler" episode in an already almost painfully slow moving, goes out of there way to misdirect and leaves no clues series like this

I've already accepted that I won't know the killer until the finale (although I believe its Richmond's vagina aid)............and you do this to me tonight

Last issue reminded me of "The Fly" episode of Breaking Bad. Someone explained sometimes the budget gets overrun and they need a "cheap" episode where only a few characters are in it. I believe this was it. Other than the 2 detectives, I think her kid at the end was the only other regular in the show.

This show added nothing to the mystery until the very end. It didn't suck as bad as The Fly on BB but it was close.

Agree with you here. Just like in The Sopranos with the Pine Needles episode where it was just Chrissy and Pauly the whole episode.

they are trying to swerve us and make us think Richmond is the killer. If he is the killer I will be very disappointed. Pretty good episode overall.

It was Richmond, I had a feeling, just cuz he was way too squeaky clean. It all adds up, his wife probably died drowning, its the 20th anniversary of her death, also you saw in another episode he has a temper (when he broke the mirror)

I think he said it was the 2 year aniversay, but I'm not positive.

I think it was the billionaire and then Richmond helped clean it up.

I don't think they will make the ending that simple though, I think someone completly unexpected will be thrown into the mix.

I think they want you to think it's Drexler and Richmond but will swerve it to someone like Gwen, Terry or like was said earlier in the thread Jamie. Gwen has taken the lead in my mind over Terry as the killer. Maybe she killed her after finding out Richmond was banging her to get her away from him so she could have him AND get him in as mayor. She seems like a no-nonsense kind of lady.

Yeah I agree there are about 7 people at this point who it could be. I also have a feeling that it might be someone in her family. ( Atleast we know now why Terry got turned down by that rich guy at Rosies funeral and then started to cry) She obviously met that guy at the escort service. I saw on a commercial that they said the last 5 minutes will have you talking for months. Something crazy is going to happen.

I believe that was Rosie's ex-boyfriends dad.   Wasn't it mentioned at some point that he had some involvement with the incumbent mayor's waterfront project?  I don't think it will be Richmond.....whoever it is I hope it's a satisfiying end.   This is just a one season show correct?

There is another season coming, but this is it as far as Rosie's murder..........I have no idea if it's going to be in Seattle with the same detectives again.....I would say no, but I'm not sure

    Can't say that I disagree....they mislead from the get-go

Let's recap this series that we've wasted our time on..........they spent at least 3+ episodes on a Somali guy we knew wasn't the killer, even spending some time with a terror/homeland security story................they gave us a filler episode which was almost unbearable to watch..............and then told us the killer would be revealed.....(are they really going to drag this story into next year?)...........

Fuck this show....I wanted to give up after 4 or 5 and wish I did

Anyway, I'm guessing now that the rich guy is the killer and the partner works for him

the closer it got to 11:02 I was getting the feeling it wasn't going to be resolved. I guess the writers or whoever made the decision to end it this way didn't listen to people who were pissed about Sopranos, Lost and other shows who ended with more questions than answers. Good show, poor finale.

its crystal clear what happened............AMC got WAY too full of itself..........not only did they feel the need to alter the Dutch original, but once the reviews came in (which by the way, they shove up your ass in every promo), they decided they would try and ride the wave even longer...........really, an entire 2nd season of this red herring bullshit? really?

but it was only 2 weeks ago or so that they announced the 2nd season. I doubt they went back and re-filmed the finale in the last two weeks. Maybe the filmed two finales and aired this one after finding out they had a 2nd season.

Dissapointed in the ending, but somewhat glad it wasn't as simple as Richmond.....

    I think.

No matter what, the show wasn't that great..............I feel, at least 50% of the time during the season, I was saying: CHRIST, THIS SUCKS, CAN WE GET ON WITH IT?

great article on the disaster this series became..........my favorite passage:

With the help of a lot more cops, our heroes again canvas, ahem, “Discovery Park” and they discover a torn-up sneaker. To be honest, we’re not really sure what this was all about — shouldn’t they have figured out Rosie’s movements weeks ago? — but it sure does get Linden all riled up as she realizes that Rosie was running and almost escaped her fate way back in the pilot. (If only we had done the same!)
