I forgot how good this series was in it's early stages (Seasons 1-3). HBO Signiture channel is re-playing the entire series at 8:00 pm Monday-Friday.
Just thought I'd give you gents a heads-up if anyone else out there doesn't own it and wants to re-watch the series. With tonight's episode, there will be 2 more episodes until Season 2 starts on Monday.
Happy Holidays everyone.

I've got it setup on the DVR but how long will they be showing this? Like 24 straight days?
BTW...thanks for the heads up. This is a classic...
I would guess until the series is over. It wouldn't be 24 straight days b/c it's only on Monday through Friday. I've been watching it every evening after work.

The Sopranos took a nose dive that final couple of seasons.
Out of nowhere Tony all of a sudden becomes a degenerate gambler and had to borrow money from the person and then considers killing him instead of paying him back.
The Anthony Jr.storyline when he becomes a whiny f u c k who needed a serious beating
And don't even get me started on the happy Vito goes to Vermont storyline
It's an all time great show, was must see tv, but I'd put The Wire and probably The Shield ahead of The Sopranos on my list of best shows.

The Anthony Jr. stuff annoyed me but there was always some thing to keep my interest. Sopranos held up for me. A lot of the plot lines were weak and all shows have a shelf life. They finished it up when it was dyeing by itself.
Deadwood was nice for a season and a half but went down hill fast. I don't think the producers had a good idea where they were going or what they wanted that show to be. It's a shame. I hoped for better.I liked that western atmosphere. Deadwood just started going every which way at the end and I was ready to give up on it when it just gave up from dumb behind on itself.

This was the one where Paulie/Christopher make apickup from a Russian gambler, think they killed, try to dump him in the woods, he gets away & they get lost in the snowy forest.
Tony to Paulie "this guy was with the Russsian interior ministry & he's some kind of green beret. He killed 16 rebels single handed."
Paulie to Christopher "Your not going to believe this.He killed 16 Slovakians. The guy was an interior decorator!"
