12:30 am - The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari (1919) - the german expressionist silent classic widley regarded as "the original horror film"
1:45 am - Nosferatu (1922) - the F. W. Murnau silent film version of the Dracula story with Max Schreck as Count Orlok (Dracula)
3:15 am - The Phantom of the Opera (1925) - the Lon Chaney silent classic
note: the 2000 horror film Shadow of the Vampire about the filming of Nosferatu speculates "what IF Murnau (played by John Malkovich) hired Max Schreck (played by Willem Dafoe) to play Count Orlok (Dracula) because he was a REAL VAMPIRE?" btw, the word "Schreck" in german means fear, scare or terror depending on the context of it's use in a sentence. definately worth watching for a "new twist" on the Dracula story. was very well acted by Malkovich, Dafoe and all involved.
