save your money and go buy some beer. terrible movie. the only thing that made the second barely tolerable was the over the top action, and they somehow managed to cut that out and leave the rest of the terribleness in it. new girl is hot, but megan fox is hotter. and shes got a black dudes lips.

I may be in the minority here, but I really don't like 3D in movies...
I get a headache after about 10 minutes..
3D is gimmicky bull shit. Those bastards force you into paying for it half the time. 12 bucks and of course the stupid broad that brings a crying baby to the theater sits right in front of me.

Its basically the same movie as transformers 2,, just different scenarios.. The 3d was barely noticeable about 30 mins in. The girl was a waste and a non-factor in the movie...
The one bright point was the special agent dude that was in TF2.. cant remember his name but he was the best part of the movie

Michael Bay is as cheesy as it gets, and tries to involve drama, action, and comedy into one movie and it never works. Stick w/ a genre and integrate maybe one more. Shia is so fucking annoying I find it hard they could fint someone else less annoying to do the film.

the fact that somewhat intelligent people can actually defend this movie is comical. im all for shutting the brain down and watching some mindless action, babes, and special effects, but they way bay does it just wants me to shoot myself. transformers 1 was average to above average. the concept and actually seeing transformers brought to live action was interesting, and that movie actually moved at a decent pace as well. bay just couldnt find the right balance between cheesiness, babe shots, big dick jokes from the mom, cgi, PLOT, and worst of all script. im not going to debate ergonomics of mindless sci fi action, but if you would like me to point out exactly how bad the script and plot was, i will be glad to do so.
example: in the first transformers, the bad bots could hack the national defense network in 10 seconds, but somehow, over a couple of years, they managed to not be able to stop the john turturros gay assistant from hacking into the atm cameras so they could help out shia and tyrese.
and where the hell was megatron for the entire last 1 and a half? he looked like he was in a drunken stooper when foxy mclegs found him in that back ally and somehow reverse psychology the super advanced biomechanical evil leader of an entire alien civilization in 20 seconds?

I watched it last night and thought it was great! Some of you are over analyzing things. Of course things will be far fetched, but that is expected in all movies. I agree some things didn't make sense, but it had a great story line, flow, yes it was long, but it was well worth it.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I give it two thumbs up, IMO the best transformers yet.

I just watched it last night and enjoyed it as well. As far as Shia goes, I like him... he does spazz out alot but I'm pretty sure that's his personality in real life as well. The one thing I hated about the movie is the new girl. Don't get me wrong, she has a smokin ass body. But, I don't think her face is that cute. It looks kind of weird and her lips are too big. I felt they tried too hard to make her a focal point of the movie. It's as if they were trying to shove her down our throats, to help us get over Meghan Fox. I think outside of her hot body, she brought nothing to the movie. She is not a good actress, and hope somehow Michael Bay and Meghan Fox can reconcile their differences if they decide to continue the franchise. Not that Meghan Fox is a good actress, but I think she plays the role much better, and I've already come to accept her as the Transformers girl. But again, overall, I thought the movie was pretty entertaining.

100% Agree with you regarding the new girl. I hate to admit it, but Megan Fox is much better actress for that role. The new girl is horrible. Yes she has a great ass, but she can't act for shit....
